South
Monmouth Board of REALTORS®
2007 Affiliate of the Year Award
On Tuesday,
September 18, 2007, the South Monmouth Board of REALTORS® held their
annual meeting at the Fellowship Hall of Manasquan Methodist Church.
At the meeting, President Jack McHugh awarded Anton Auth of Sovereign
Bank, the Seventh Annual South Monmouth Board of REALTORS® Affiliate
of the Year Award.
This award is in
recognition of service to the South Monmouth Board of REALTORS®, the
community and the real estate industry as well.
Mr. Auth serves on
the South Monmouth Board of REALTORS® Affiliate Committee. He has been
an Affiliate member of the Board for over 4 years. He has supported
and participated in numerous fundraisers and events for the Board.
Mr. Auth is also actively involved in the community. His involvement
includes being a member of the Point Pleasant Beach Elks and Jersey
Shore Business Group to name a few.
Mr. Auth has been
with Sovereign Bank for five years and he is in the top 10% of loan
officers for the company. He has won several customer service awards
at his company.
A few years ago, Mr.
Auth set up a savings account for a local real estate company. For
every closed deal, that he and the real estate office participate in
together, Mr. Auth deposits money into the savings account. At the
end of the year, before the holidays, Mr. Auth withdraws the money and
gives it to the Broker. The Broker then discusses with the agents
which charity they want to contribute to that year.

Welcome to RPAC, the
voice of REALTORS® on Capitol Hill. Since 1969 RPAC has been
promoting the election of pro-REALTOR® candidates across the United
States. During the last federal election cycle alone, RPAC
contributed over $12 million to pro-REALTOR® candidates to Congress,
making it the number one trade association political action
committee in the nation. Why has RPAC been successful? Because RPAC
is not a charity. RPAC is a business.
On the national level, we give our money to those in Congress who
both understand and support REALTOR® issues. We look to build the
future by putting RPAC dollars in places that will help advance the
interests of Real Estate professionals. RPAC is the only political
group in the country organized for REALTORS®, run by REALTORS® and
exists solely to further issues important to REALTORS®. Think of
your RPAC contribution as an investment. The best investment you'll
ever make in your business and yourself. RPAC is your best insurance
against poorly designed small business and commercial real estate
legislation. If you're not giving your fair share to RPAC, you're
not doing all you can to better your profession, your business, and
yourself. |
